Ximena Caminos

Founder | Artistic Director

Ximena Caminos is a renowned cultural entrepreneur and place-maker, celebrated for her unwavering commitment to public art. She is the Chair of BlueLab Preservation Society, CCO of HoneyLab Creative, and Founder of The ReefLine. Acknowledged as a cultural innovator, Caminos has pioneered new ways to engage with contemporary art and cultural expressions, emphasizing the role of culture in community-building, urban development, climate change, and ocean conservation. She has played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and planning large-scale cultural districts across North and South America. As the Artistic Visionary Planner for The Underline, the largest public art project in the United States, Caminos has significantly influenced the integration of art in public spaces. She is the founder and former Chair of Faena Art and served as the Executive Creative Director and partner in Faena Group. Additionally, she was the Chief Curator of the Faena Arts Center in Buenos Aires from 2004 and founded the Faena Prize for the Arts, one of the largest art prizes in Latin America.

She is recognized as a major contributor to the international contemporary arts scene, holding positions like a member of the New Museum Leadership Council, founding member of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum's Latin American Circle Partner, and Advisor to Art Basel Cities. Caminos is also an XPrize Ambassador and has received numerous international awards and recognitions, including the Knight Foundation’s Arts Challenge Award and the Arts Champion Award.

Currently, Ximena Caminos is leading an interdisciplinary team of experts on the realization and production of The ReefLine, a seven to nine-mile public underwater sculpture park and artificial reef off the coast of Miami Beach, FL. Each reef module for this innovative project will be designed by artists and informed by scientific research.


Brandi Reddick

Executive Director

Brandi Reddick, an esteemed arts administrator and curator with over two decades of experience, has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape. Notably, as Cultural Affairs Manager for the City of Miami Beach, she oversaw citywide cultural activities and established the Art in Public Places program, doubling the city's public art collection and orchestrating a $7.1 million commission for the new Convention Center, the largest in U.S. municipal history. Previously, as Curator for Art in Public Places at the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Reddick led commissions for iconic venues such as the Miami Marlins Stadium, PortMiami, Zoo Miami, and Miami International Airport. Her global influence is evident through consulting for international municipalities, conference presentations, and contributions to essays promoting access and funding for art and cultural programming.


Florencia Binder

Chief Operating Officer

Florencia’s creative spirit and management skills combined with her work-life experiences developed into a multifaceted career, making art, culture and social entrepreneurship the foundation of all her endeavors. With a solid economic background from Di Tella University and full marketing skills seized at Unilever; Florencia developed her senior career as CEO at FAENA Art, leading both cultural and creative hubs in Argentina and Miami.
After studying Economics at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, she was selected by Unilever as part of their Young Professionals Program, where she developed full retail and B2C marketing skills and reached the position of Global Brand Manager. Her role included working at a regional level in Latam and interacting with US, Europe and Asia. She left Unilever to join Maravillarte Art Management as a cultural producer and contemporary art consultant. She then moved on to FAENA, where she was appointed the launch of the Faena Arts Center in Buenos Aires and subsequently the Miami branch. She spent five years back and forth between Miami and Buenos Aires, as CEO of both cultural hubs and leading the Creative Department. Florencia was granted the Chevening Scholarship to complete her MA in Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship, in London.

Shelby Thomas 


Chief Scientific Officer

As the Founder and CEO of Ocean Rescue Alliance International, she leads a marine conservation nonprofit dedicated to implementing innovative techniques for restoring marine environments. With a master’s in Marine Ecology and pursuing a PhD in Marine Biology at the University of Florida, she is an expert in marine restoration and conservation. Her work spans various projects including coral, seagrass, oyster, sea-urchin, and scallop restoration, reflecting her deep passion for preserving natural ecosystems and fostering appreciation for them. The nonprofit integrates art to effectively communicate science to the public, with their artificial reefs serving as ecotourism destinations that combine art and culture to engage communities. Under her guidance, the organization has deployed 5 artificial reef projects, comprising over 300 structures and 30,000 coral outplants. With involvement in over 25 restoration projects, she continues to lead innovative research scaling marine ecosystem restoration efforts.
